Sales Executive


Role Summary

To drive additional revenue with new and existing customers by selling Nortel and Avaya IP, Data, Voice solutions. Responsible for solution sales for SME customers.

Essence of Role

  • Research and identify prospects from new/existing customers of the product portfolio.
  • Network effectively around a potential client to seek decision makers.
  • Lead and negotiate individual opportunities; establish and agree appropriate contractual arrangements; match Remego services to customer needs and eliminate competition.
  • Obtain support, as necessary, for the sales and retention processes from other departments.
  • Closing deals effectively.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Provide feedback to sales management on competitor activity, market conditions and emerging business needs and trends.


Role Dimension

Financial (limits/mandates etc.):
  • Commercial / pricing sign-off within policy guidelines.
  • Customer revenue generated.


Non-financial (customers/staff etc):
  • Customer satisfaction.


Typical Outputs
  • Customer deals – approved estimates, quotes, bids, and contracts.
  • Opportunity / deal pipeline.


Technical/Professional Expertise

A combination of the following is ideal but Remego will work with selected candidates to build up these expertise.
  • Experience selling IP solutions (including the following products: LAN, IPT, VoIP, UC, IPVPN, Security, Hosted solutions) to meet customer business requirements.
  • Ability to overcome competitor sales strategies. Comfortably discuss IT environments to open opportunities.
  • Commercial acumen to build commercially-viable solutions.
  • Ability to qualify prospects.
  • Ability to produce high quality bids, tenders & proposals.
  • Accurately forecast orders.
  • Ability to close complex business.
  • Knowledge of sales tools
  • Knowledge of internal processes and procedures
  • Company knowledge, marketing messages
  • Attention to detail for administrative tasks.
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively and remain calm under pressure
